I was having some issues with Multiply for a bit.. all I could get to was my Inbox.. but, I couldn't post or read previous entries. Crossing fingers.. and hoping whatever it is they are doing.. that they are DONE!
As it's the new year.. there are a few household items to schedule for routine maintenance. Just scheduled to have the ducts cleaned later this month. I also scheduled our pest control for the week after the duct cleaning. I was really surprised that they've lowered the price quite a bit! A few things about this economy that I like.. they are lowering prices to entice customers to still use their services!
San Antonio is known to have major allergens. This is the time of year.. that we get the cedar pollen.. and omg.. that stuff is HORRID. We rotate allergy medications to try and get something to work for just a few hours. To give you an idea of how bad it is.. Wallyworld has been without Actifed on the shelves.. for nearly three weeks now. Our local grocery store.. is also having a problem staying stocked. I finally found Actifed at Target.. and bought three packages. Sigh. They ran out. With three of us needing it.. it doesn't last long. I'm hoping by cleaning the ducts.. that it'll lower the junk floating in the vents.
Whenever I see dust particles floating in the air.. it always reminds me of the time.. our youngest was around one or two years old. I was walking by his room one day.. and he was laying on his back on the floor.. pinching at the air in a sunbeam. I stopped.. and just watched him for a few minutes.. and curious.. I finally asked him what he was doing.. "Catching fairies" he replied!! lol. omg.. such a vivid imagination! And, yes.. it was shortly after watching, "Hook" the movie. It had just come out on video!! lol. To this day.. I cannot help but smile.. when I see dust floating in a sunbeam.. and wonder.. are they real??
